OLD LYME, CT - Part of Interstate 95 was shut down along the shoreline Thursday morning in Old Lyme and did not re-open until later Thursday evening.I-95 Southbound was closed between Exits 71 and 70 around 11:34 a.m., according to the DOT website. Police said the closure was prompted by a pedestrian being hit by a tractor trailer.. A fuel spill resulted in DEEP/environmental services' response for clean-up.
