It's Not Too Late to Sign Up for Summer Reading!

The Old Lyme-Phoebe Griffin Noyes Library’s annual Summer Reading program is still open to anyone in pre-K through Grade 12! Read ten books this summer and earn gift cards to either the Old Lyme Ice Cream Shoppe or The Chocolate Shell. Plus you will be entered to win our Summer Reading Grand Prize Raffle! Receive a stamp on your card for every book you read. Once you have read ten books, written a quick review on one of the books and received your ten stamps, you will receive a gift card to either the Old Lyme Ice Cream Shoppe or The Chocolate Shell. Your completed Reader Card will be entered into our grand prize drawing for either a $75 gift card to Toys R’ Us (for students in grades K-2), a $75 Visa gift card (for students in grades 3-5) or a pair of Beats by Dre over-the-ear headphones (for students in Grades 6-12). To keep summer readers motivated, prizes will also be given for registration as well as the first and fifth books read.

Children who are not yet school-aged are welcome to participate in our “Little Heroes” program. Read picture books and board books to your little ones, fill up your reading record, and win a coloring kit or a gift card to the Old Lyme Ice Cream Shoppe!
