Jean McGran Joins Chelsea Groton Bank, To Lead Niantic Retail Team

GROTON, CT – Jean McGran of Norwich recently joined Chelsea Groton Bank as Assistant Vice President, Regional Sales & Service Manager. In this role, she will be responsible for leading the Bank’s Groton, New London, Niantic and Waterford retail teams.

Prior to joining Chelsea Groton, McGran spent six years as an area manager for First Niagara Bank, where she monitored the customer experience, managed sales and coached her team to improve sales performance. “Jean is a focused leader who is well-versed in coaching employees to achieve their individual development and team goals,” Director of Sales and Service Lori Dufficy said in a release. “We know that the better trained and motivated our team is, the better the banking experience will be for our customers. We believe Jean will be a great addition to the Chelsea Groton team.”

McGran completed a Retail Bank Management graduate program at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. She has participated in Relay for Life and the Connecticut Chapter’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s for the last few years.
