Juvenile Charged In East Lyme High School Assault
A 15-year-old student was charged in connection with an assault in the restroom at the high school.
EAST LYME, CT — A juvenile suspect has been charged in connection with the assault of a girl in a restroom at East Lyme High School, according to The New London Day. The 15-year-old suspect was charged with third-degree assault.
The victim was slapped and punched in the head, pulled by the hair and then kicked while she was on the ground.
The arrest comes after students conducted a walkout protest earlier this month claiming that the administration has failed to denounce racist incidents at the school.
