A lawsuit from 2012 had claimed the former East Lyme Middle School employee had sex with the plaintiff more than a decade ago.

EAST LYME, CT- A man has withdrawn a lawsuit from 2012 that alleged a school psychologist had inappropriate sexual contact with him when he was 14, as reported by The Day.
The plaintiff, 29, had claimed an East Lyme Middle School psychologist had sex with him more than a decade earlier, but withdrew the lawsuit to all defendants, according to The Day. They include former East Lyme Middle School principal Jerome Belair, the East Lyme Board of Education and the former psychologist, Allison Robinson, who became assistant director of the Friendship School in Waterford.
Robinson had been charged by state police in 2011 for assaulting the plaintiff in 2000 and 2001, according to The Day. The plaintiff had claimed that Robinson, who was 25 at the time, had engaged in sexual activity with him on and off school grounds during an anger management class he was required to attend.
