Ledge Light Health District Has Coronavirus Vaccination Appointments Available
People who are eligible to receive the vaccine should log onto VAMS to secure an appointment.

As of early this morning (Thursday, Jan. 21), Ledge Light Health District (LLHD) had 75 open appointments left for local residents to receive the COVID vaccine.

The open appointments are for vaccination clinics that will take place at the Groton City municipal building on Meridian Street either today, Thursday, January 21, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., or Saturday, January 23, from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
People who are eligible to receive the vaccine should log onto VAMS to secure an appointment. The appointments are expected to fill up quickly.

Individuals who are currently eligible to receive the vaccine include:
- Residents 75 years old and older
- Health care personnel
- Long-term care facility residents
- Medical first responders
