Ledge Light Health District To Have Coronavirus Vaccination Appointments Available On February 4 In Town Of Lyme
People who are eligible to receive the vaccine should log onto VAMS on Tuesday around 4:00 p.m. to secure an appointment.

Ledge Light Health District (LLHD) announced today (Monday, Feb. 1) that it will receive an allocation of the Moderna COVID vaccine on Tuesday, Feb. 2, and will be administering these doses at a vaccination clinic that will take place at the Groton City municipal building on Meridian Street on Thursday, Feb. 4, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

LLHD will be posting the availability of these clinics to the VAMS website at approximately 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 2 – at which point the vaccination appointments will become available for scheduling. (VAMS is short for Vaccination Administration Management System.)
People who are eligible to receive the vaccine should log onto VAMS on Tuesday around 4:00 p.m. to secure an appointment. The appointments are expected to fill up quickly.

Individuals who are currently eligible to receive the vaccine include:
- Residents 75 years old and older
- Residents and staff of select congregate settings
- Health care personnel
- Long-term care facility residents
- First responders at risk of exposure to COVID-19 through their response to medical emergencies
