Living in Space Program

Learn what it's like to live in space!

The Old Lyme - Phoebe Griffin Noyes Library will be holding a “Living in Space” Program that will be hosted by the Connecticut Science Center for teens in grades 6-12 on Monday, June 6th from 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM.

Participate in hands on experiments as you learn what astronauts deal with when living in space. Operate a model cooling system, investigate what happens to objects in a vacuum, and learn how to use a Geiger counter!

All supplies will be provided. Registration is strongly encouraged. Supplies are limited. Registered attendees will be given preference over drop-ins. Register online at www.oldlyme.lioninc.org under the “Teen Programs” tab or call the Library 860-434-1684. This service is free and open to the public.
