Lyme, Old Lyme Senator Testifies to Ease Restrictions on the Craft Beer Industry
State Senator Paul Formica represents the residents of the 20th Senatorial District.

HARTFORD, CT – Sen. Formica recently testified with local small business owners this month, calling to ease restrictions on the craft beer industry.
Senator Paul Formica joined Jason Vincent, an emerging small business owner from Griswold, to testify before the state’s General Law Committee in Hartford on February 7. Their testimony was in favor of legislation aimed at encouraging the expansion of the local craft beer industry, according to a release.
The business-friendly proposal, Senate Bill 528, would ease labeling restrictions on craft brewers working to get their businesses up and running. Vincent is in the process of opening a craft brewery, Epicure Brewing, in downtown Norwich.
