On Thursday, Apr. 8, at 7:00 p.m., the Friends of the Public Library will offer “Scandal on Plum Island,” a presentation by Marian Lindberg on the 1914 Army commander Major Benjamin Koehler, who was tried for allegedly groping male subordinates at Fort Terry, as well as efforts to preserve Plum Island.
