“Please join us in welcoming our new town nurse, Denise Piersa. Denise has worked for the Visiting Nurse Association of Southern Connecticut for the past 14 years and is looking forwarding to assisting the citizens of Lyme and Old Lyme.

“She will be available for home visits, free of charge once a month or for single visits.

“She can provide the following in-home and over-thephone services

      • Blood pressure checks
      • Safety checks
      • Review medications
      • General health assessments
      • Address general concerns and refer for nursing and other services
      • Visits when you are not feeling well and can’t get to the doctor
      • Skin checks
