Lymes' Youth Services Bureau Seeks Backpacks, School Supplies
The deadline to drop off backpacks and school supplies is Aug. 10.
OLD LYME, CT — Lymes' Youth Services Bureau is seeking backpacks and school supplies to distribute to area foster children and students in need, according to officials.
"The majority of children receiving these backpacks are in middle and high school," wrote LYSB on its Facebook page.
In addition to backpacks, the bureau is also looking for spiral notebooks, folders, paper, pens, pencils, highlighters, erasers, markers, tissues, rulers and calculators.

The items must be delivered to the bureau's offices on Lyme Street in Old Lyme by Friday, Aug. 10.
