Man Charged with Stealing Gun, Bicycle in East Lyme: Police
A New London man was recently charged with stealing both a gun and a bicycle in East Lyme.
EAST LYME, CT - A New London man was charged Thursday with stealing both a gun and a bicycle, the New London Day reported.
Police said they found Raymond Phillips, 50, at Niantic Bay Bicycles on Methodist Street, according to the New London Day. While investigating, store employees told officers the suspect has a gun in the waistband of his pants.
Phillips was subsequently found to have a .22-caliber handgun in his waistband, the New London Day reported. Police determined the gun to have also been stolen.
