Minors Sexually Assaulted By Man In Old Lyme: PD

OLD LYME, CT — A 70-year-old man was arrested after he sexually assaulted two girls, according to police.

A 13-year-old girl reported the abuse after she became concerned that Pedro Ramos would start assaulting her 8-year-old sister, police said. The 13-year-old told police Ramos assaulted her starting when she was 8-years-old, according to The Day.

Investigators learned that the 8-year-old had been assaulted since she was 4 or 5-years-old, according to police.

Ramos was apprehended by Louisiana State Police and was turned over to Connecticut State Police.
