In time for the start of school in a few weeks.

EAST LYME, CT — In a move to improve safety, new pedestrian crosswalk signs have been installed on Chesterfield Road near East Lyme High School, according to the East Lyme Public Safety Department.
Additionally, the crosswalk's yellow lights will flash on both sides of the road when a pedestrian pushes the button, which will alert drivers that someone is crossing.
"Let's work together to keep our town a safe place to live, work and play!!" wrote officials in the below Facebook post.
