Niantic Woman Accused Of Injuring Child, Husband: Report

The incident occurred Monday, according to East Lyme police.

EAST LYME, CT — A 35-year-old Niantic woman was arrested Monday on reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct charges after police said she allegedly dropped her 18-month-old child and nearly ran over her husband with a vehicle, reports The Day. Both the child and husband suffered minor injuries.

Natalee Longhenry allegedly dropped the child inside her home and was additionally charged with risk of injury to a minor. She nearly backed over her husband when he allegedly tried to stop her from driving off, according to East Lyme police.

Longhenry is scheduled to appear in New London Superior Court on Tuesday.
