Obituary: Brenda A. Conradi, 81, of East Lyme

Brenda Alice de Berkeley Conradi , age 81, of East Lyme, passed away peacefully November 3, 2016 after a short illness. Brenda, known as Brandy, was a longtime resident of Connecticut, both in Mystic and East Lyme. Brandy was a 1983 graduate of Connecticut College and was a loving mother to Randall Conradi (Diane) of Stonington, CT and Kathryn Cerles (Bernard) of Plymouth, MN. She was preceded in death by her youngest son, Christopher Conradi.

Brandy has 4 grandchildren, Jonathan and Jennifer Conradi, Audrey and Philip Cerles and one great-grandson, Christopher David Conradi.

Throughout her life Brandy was an avid gardener and especially liked growing her own vegetables which we all enjoyed whether it would be her blueberries, grapes or simply tomatoes.

She loved animals but was especially fond of cats and until recently very active in rescuing felines in distress.

She always possessed of a keen mind and good humor, she loved reading and passed her love of books on to her children.

Conforming to Brenda's wishes, a private family gathering celebrating her life will be held at a later date.
