Maryellen Peterson Wilson, 50, of Niantic, passed away on Thursday June 8, 2017 at her residence.
Maryellen was born on December 4, 1966 in New London the daughter of Carl P. Wilson of Oakdale and the late Mary E. MacDonald Wilson. She had received her Associates Degree in Early Child Development from Three Rivers College.

Besides her father, Maryellen is survived by her step-mother Rosemarie Wilson of Oakdale and her brother Peter M. Wilson of New London.
A Memorial Service in her honor will be held at 7 pm Monday evening June 19 at the Byles Memorial Home, 99 Huntington St. in New London. Her burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, her family has requested that donations in her memory be directed to the M L D Foundation, 21345 Miles Drive, West Linn, Oregon 97068.
