OLD LYME, CT — Roger's Lake (Hains Park) in Old Lyme has reopened for swimming. Previously, the swimming area had been temporarily closed due to elevated bacteria levels in the water, according to a statement from the Ledge Light Health District. Hawks Nest Beach in Old Lyme had a swimming advisory posted Monday which was lifted Tuesday. The area was sampled again and found to be below action levels.
