Old Lyme will host its annual fireworks display and town band concert once again this year on Saturday, July 30 as the finale of the town’s Midsummer Festival.
Town Fireworks are scheduled to take place behind the Lyme Street school grounds.
The Old Lyme Town Band will perform at 7:30 p.m. and the Lyme Old Lyme Council of the Chamber of Commerce will sell glow sticks & bottled water.

For more than 20 years, the town has showcased its artistic heritage with a Midsummer Festival, according to the town website. This two-day event, which begins on Friday, July 29, is a quintessential New England celebration for all ages, takes place in the heart of Old Lyme's historic district.
All activities take place at two locations along Lyme Street, the Florence Griswold Museum and the Lyme Art Association.

The celebration begins on Friday July 29 with a concert on the grounds of the Florence Griswold Association. It concludes on Saturday July 30th with a fireworks display sponsored by the Town of Old Lyme.
