Old Lyme Golf Car Thief Caught After Scooter Chase: PD
The owner of the golf caught chased the thief down while on a scooter, police said.
OLD LYME, CT — A New London man was arrested after he stole a golf cart and was chased down by its owner on a scooter, according to police.
Police responded to Old colony Road July 16 after a golf cart was reported stolen, according to The Day.
A golf cart was located on Old Colony Road, but a different one was taken, police said. The second golf cart owner chased the man while on a scooter before the perpatrator fled into a cottage.
