ROCKY HILL, CT — An Old Lyme man was seriously injured in a rollover crash on I-91 in Rocky Hill early Tuesday, according to police.

The 35-year-old man was driving a 2006 Chevy Silverado at 12:53 a.m. on I-91 North south of Exit 24 in the right lane.

For an unknown reason, the truck veered across all lanes, crossed into the left shoulder, then entered the grass median to the left of the road.

The truck went down an embankment, then rolled over and came to rest on its roof in the median.

The driver suffered serious injuries and was transported by emergency medical services to Hartford Hospital for treatment.

The truck was towed from the scene of the crash.

The case remains under investigation.
