A jury found the pastor guilty on all charges. The pastor was found guilty of sexually assaulting two of his female parishioners.

CLINTON, CT — A Pastor with The Good Samaritan Church in Old Lyme, Francisco Moran, 59, who is a Clinton resident, was found guilty by a jury of multiple sexual assault charges, according to Clinton Police.
This afternoon at Middlesex Superior Court in Middletown, Moran was found guilty on all charges by a jury of his peers following a criminal trial after being previously accused of sexual assault, police said in a news release.
Moran, a Pastor with The Good Samaritan Church in Old Lyme and Clinton resident was arrested in April 2015 by the Clinton Police Department following a lengthy investigation where Moran was accused of sexually assaulting some of his female parishioners, including a juvenile, police said in the news release.

Upon reaching a guilty verdict, the court ordered Moran to forfeit his passport, and he was remanded into custody of the state Department of Corrections, police said. Moran is currently being held on a $2 million bond. As of this time a date for his sentencing is unknown.
When Moran was arrested in 2015, Clinton police at the time said Moran was accused of unwanted sexual contact with two female parishioners belonging to his church. The victims, police have said, are an adult female and a teenaged juvenile female. In the summer of 2014, Moran allegedly sexually assaulted the victims, on separate occasions, in a private residence located in Clinton, police said back in 2015.
“Both victims separately advised police after they were sexually assaulted, Moran allegedly threatened them with deportation if they spoke of the assaults,” Clinton police said back in 2015 when Moran was first arrested.
