Old Lyme Resident Cashes $100K Win In CT Lottery

OLD LYME, CT — A local resident is celebrating a big lottery win after matching all five numbers in the Connecticut Cash5 drawing, earning a $100,000 prize.

According to the Connecticut Lottery Corporation, the winning Cash5 ticket was purchased at Ez Mini Mart Food Store LLC in Old Lyme and was claimed on Feb. 18. The winner was an Old Lyme resident who chose to remain anonymous.

Cash5 is a draw game offered by the Connecticut Lottery in which players choose five numbers; matching all five earns the top prize of $100,000. The winning numbers for the Feb. 18 Cash5 drawing were 3-10-24-25-26.

Retailers that sell winning lottery tickets typically receive a bonus from the Lottery.

Lottery officials remind players to sign the back of their tickets and to play responsibly.
