Old Lyme Resident Snagged in Shrimp Shoplifting Incident: Cops
A an Old Lyme woman who is a suspect in several Mansfield thefts has been charged with shrimp stealing.

MANSFIELD, CT — A Old Lyme resident who is a suspect in what state police are describing as "numerous" larcenies around the East Brook Mall/University of Connecticut area was recently caught stealing seafood and other groceries, an arrest report indicates.
Elizabeth Smith, 48, of whose listed address is Wychwood Road, Old Lyme, was arrested on a sixth-degree larceny charge Dec. 27, state police said in an arrest report.
She was caught that day taking $328 worth of shrimp, meal and dairy products from the Mansfield Big Y supermarket near the University of Connecticut, according to an arrest report.
