Old Lyme Zoning Commission Rejects Pickleball Proposal

The commission rejected a country club's bid to add two dedicated pickleball courts, according to a report.

OLD LYME, CT — The Old Lyme Zoning Commission voted Monday to reject the Old Lyme Country Club's proposal for two dedicated pickleball courts, The Day of New London reported. The plans were rejected by a 4-2 vote.

Neighbors complain that the sound of the paddles striking the balls combined with the shouts of players disrupts their ability to enjoy their backyards.
