Repairs To Lyme's Joshuatown Bridge Set To Begin
The bridge span Eight Mile River.

LYME, CT — Repairs to Lyme's Joshuatown Bridge, which spans the Eight Mile River, are scheduled to begin on Monday, Oct. 23, according to town officials.
"We anticipate a duration of about 3 weeks for the repairs to be completed," wrote officials in a statement. "The road may experience short one-lane closures, but detours should not be required and traffic should not be affected significantly."
Officials urge caution from motorists traveling near and across the bridge during the construction, as workers will be on and along the span.
