- Weather permitting, the first part of the Cape Seal is tentatively scheduled to begin the week of July 27.
- Please do not park in the street during this period.
- No work will take place on the weekends.
- During the forest part of the process, the road surface will be sealed with a layer of asphalt chips, which is a mixture of liquid asphalt and stone.
- The process should not take more than a day or so. Traffic control will be maintained at all times during the application, but there could be minor delays.
- The final travel surface will be applied a few weeks after the chip- sealing process is finished which will make for a smoother travel surface.
