Changes Being Made to Thanksgiving Football Schedules

A prediction of frigid temperatures on Thanksgiving morning has led to the rescheduling of a number of high school football contests to Wednesday evening.

Temperatures are expected to be in the teens Thursday morning, reaching a high of just 22 during the day.

The following games have already been changed from Thursday morning to Wednesday. Check back with Patch for updates throughout the day.

• Bulkeley/HMTCA/Weaver at Hartford Public, 6 p.m. (at Annie Fisher School)
• Cheshire at Southington, 6 p.m.
• Cromwell/Portland at Rocky Hill, 6 p.m. (note: site change)
• East Catholic vs. Northwest Catholic, 6 p.m. (at Bloomfield)
• East Lyme at Waterford, 6 p.m.
• Fairfield Ludlowe at Fairfield Warde, 4:30 p.m.
• Griswold at Plainfield, 6 p.m.
• Hillhouse at Wilbur Cross, 6 p.m.
• Ledyard at Fitch, 6 p.m.
• MCW United at Abbott Tech/Immaculate, 2 p.m.
• New Milford at New Fairfield, 4 p.m.
• Norwich Free Academy at New London, 6 p.m.
