State Police Search For Suspects In Old Lyme Wallet Theft

Police are searching for two suspects accused of stealing a wallet from a car at a gas station.

OLD LYME, CT — State police are searching for two suspects after a person's wallet was stolen from a car. The theft occurred at the Mobil gas station on Halls Road in Old Lyme on Thursday at 2:18 p.m.

Two people in a Volkswagen Beetle drove to the gas station. Police described the suspects as a female with blue hair approximately 5 foot 4 inches and a white male approximately 5 foot 7 inches with short hair, wearing jeans, and a white t-shirt.

The man went into an unoccupied vehicle at a separate gas pump and took a wallet from the vehicle, according to police.

The Volkswagen then took off heading northbound on Halls Road.
