State Police Vehicle Involved In Lyme Accident: Reports

A state trooper was issued a warning following a crash in Lyme on Monday evening.

LYME, CT — A state police vehicle was involved in a crash Monday that injured at least one person, WTNH News-8 reported. State Police Troop F was notified of the accident at 6:37 p.m., which occurred on Brush Hill Road in Lyme.

Trooper Johan Frias, 31, was driving on Brush Hill Road and struck a guardrail after "momentarily" losing control of his car, Connecticut Insider reported. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

He was also issued a verbal warning for failure to maintain lane, according to Connecticut Insider.
