In April, the East Lyme Public Trust accepted the resignation of Sue Ebersole as their Treasurer. They are very grateful to Sue for her long-term service to the organization. She has performed this role with efficiency and thoroughness.
The Nominating Committee was pleased to announce that Polly DeSanto has agreed to take up these duties. Polly, who is a graduate of Tufts University, has served as a volunteer for many organizations. She served as a member of the Board of Directors for both the New York Tufts Club and the Thames Science Center. She has also served as a member of the East Lyme Zoning Board of Appeals. As a member of St. John’s Church, she has served as Senior Warden and also as a Niantic Vestry member. In addition, she served as Co-chairman of the St. John’s Church Organ Fund.
