Whitney Lane & Winchester Neighborhoods Re-Paving Operations

The Town will be re-paving the Whitney and Winchester neighborhoods off of Dean Road over the next few weeks. The work will start on Whitney Lane this coming Monday 5/9 at 7am with the contractor grinding up the road, re-grading it, then rolling the base. This should take a few days then the contractor will be coming back either later in the week or next week to pave both neighborhoods. Once the paving is done, they will re-install the curbing and loam and seed behind the new curbs. All of the work should occur during the day on Mondays thru Fridays starting at around 7am. For residents that live in these neighborhoods, you should be able to get thru but expect some minor delays. Please drive safe thru our construction zones as safety is our #1 priority! There is no on-street parking allowed during construction so we can finish the job properly.

Additionally, some paving will be occurring along Dean Road over the next couple of weeks as well in preparation for a surface treatment this summer. If you have any questions about our work, please reach out to us at publicworks@eltownhall.com.
