On Monday, Jul. 11, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the Ledge Light Health District (LLHD), in collaboration with the Old Lyme Visiting Nurse Association, will hold a Covid-19 vaccination clinic at the Lymes’ Senior Center offering the Moderna vaccine. The clinic is free and open to the public. No appointment, insurance or ID is necessary.

Only the Moderna vaccine will be available at this clinic for individuals 18 years or older who need a first or second dose (i.e., a primary vaccine series) or who are eligible for a first or second booster dose.
The following groups are eligible for a first booster shot at this clinic:

- Individuals 18 years of age and older who have completed a primary series of an mRNA Covid-19 vaccine (either Moderna or Pfizer) and for whom it has been at least 5 months since the completion of their primary series.
- Individuals 18 years of age and older who have had a primary dose of the Janssen Covid-19 vaccine and for whom it has been at least 2 months since their primary dose and who would like to receive an mRNA booster.
The following groups are eligible for a second booster shot at this clinic:
- Individuals 50 years of age and older who have received a first booster dose of any authorized or approved Covid-19 vaccine, and for whom it has been at least 4 months since their first booster.
Individuals who have been vaccinated previously should bring their CDC vaccination card.
