The Lower Connecticut River Valley Council of Governments (RiverCOG) has permanently closed its household hazardous waste (HHW) facility in Essex. In place of that facility, RiverCOG will be holding a series of HHW collection events in our area on select Saturdays from April through October. Lyme residents are encouraged to use any or all of these events to dispose of their HHW materials.
