Upcoming Open Houses In Lyme, East Lyme & Old Lyme

LYME, CT — The Lymes have a full lineup this weekend, from a tiny remodeled Sound View cottage steps from the beach to a Point O' Woods summer home with a history of repeat renters, a riverfront retreat with its own dock in East Lyme and a renovated six-bedroom in Lyme. EG Home is also showing its finished model and four to-be-built plans at Riverside Reserve.

Sixteen Lyme, East Lyme and Old Lyme homes are holding open houses Saturday, Oct. 31, and Sunday, Nov. 1, with prices from $250,000 to $1,442,995, according to Zillow.com. Two are in Lyme, 11 are in East Lyme, including three in Niantic, and three are in Old Lyme.

Saturday, Oct. 31

2 Meetinghouse Lane, Niantic, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., $565,000. This three-bedroom, three-bath condo was originally the complex's model home, on a cul-de-sac of three homes across from the community gazebo. It has granite counters, a remodeled bath with a walk-in shower and a second-floor bedroom with its own bath. It has 1,918 square feet, and the $525 monthly fee covers the structure, roof, mechanicals and snow removal, according to the listing.

34 Ridgewood Road, Old Lyme, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., $849,000. This three-bedroom, 1.5-bath seasonal home is in Point O' Woods, with hardwood floors, a fireplace, an outdoor shower and flex space above the garage. The listing says it has a history of repeat summer renters, and the beach community has tennis and pickleball courts, a boat basin and a Fourth of July bike and golf cart parade. It has 1,428 square feet and was built in 1933.

Riverside Reserve, Twin Valley Road, East Lyme. EG Home is showing five listings at Riverside Reserve, its 22-home community on a quiet cul-de-sac; the listings say to use Green Valley Lakes Road for GPS. One is the finished model; the other four are to-be-built plans with photos of similar completed homes. The listings put construction at about 11 to 12 months, and say base prices include a credit toward upgrades. All five are open Saturday from noon to 3 p.m.; the model is open Sunday from 10 a.m. to noon and the other four from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Zillow lists a $42 monthly HOA fee.

1 Twin Valley Road, East Lyme, noon to 3 p.m. (also Sunday, 10 a.m. to noon), $1,442,995. The finished Lillinonah model is a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath home with a two-story foyer, a Pro Kitchen with quartz counters, box beams in the dining area and solar panels. It's DOE Zero Energy Ready certified, and the listing says model furnishings don't convey. It has 2,831 square feet on 0.89 acres.

20 Twin Valley Road, East Lyme, noon to 3 p.m. (also Sunday), $1,175,000. The to-be-built Lillinonah plan on Lot 14 is a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath Colonial with a two-story foyer, a primary suite with a tray ceiling and an oversized three-car garage. Zillow lists 3,484 square feet.

24 Twin Valley Road, East Lyme, noon to 3 p.m. (also Sunday), $1,200,000. The to-be-built Ashford on Lot 12 is a three-bedroom, 2.5-bath ranch with all primary living spaces on one floor, a vaulted great room, a private study and a walk-in pantry. It has 2,810 square feet on 1.59 acres.

6 Twin Valley Road, East Lyme, noon to 3 p.m. (also Sunday), $1,240,000. The to-be-built Highland is a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath home with a two-story living room and a dedicated study, plus optional first-floor guest suite and finished lower-level studio. Zillow lists 3,718 square feet on 0.67 acres.

8 Twin Valley Road, East Lyme, noon to 3 p.m. (also Sunday), $1,120,000. The to-be-built Hayward on Lot 20 is a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath Colonial built to DOE Zero Energy Ready and EPA Indoor airPLUS standards, and buyers personalize it at EG Home's Design Center. It has 2,831 square feet on 0.72 acres.

11 Summit Avenue, East Lyme, noon to 2 p.m. (also Sunday, 1 to 3 p.m.), $559,999. This one-bedroom, two-bath waterfront home looks out on the river, with a private balcony, a stone patio and a dock. The kitchen has a granite island, a Viking gas range and a new Sub-Zero refrigerator, and the entire upper floor is the primary suite. The listing says winter damage to the dock was repaired this fall and the seller will finish permitting in December. It has 1,462 square feet.

16 Pattagansett Drive, East Lyme, noon to 1:30 p.m., $395,000. This two-bedroom, one-bath ranch overlooks Lake Pattagansett, with a boat landing nearby, according to the listing. It has an eat-in kitchen with stainless appliances, hardwood floors in the living room and a 2015 roof. It has 964 square feet.

78 Corey Lane #7, East Lyme, noon to 2 p.m., $269,000. This two-bedroom, one-bath townhouse condo is a corner unit at Corey Lane Manor, with wood floors, a breakfast bar, appliances updated in 2023 and 2024 and a back deck. It has 980 square feet and a $400 monthly HOA fee.

32 South Edgewood Road, Niantic, noon to 2 p.m., $459,900. This two-bedroom, two-bath Cape is in Giants Neck Heights, a short stroll from the private association beach, with a vaulted ceiling, a loft, a Trex deck and an outdoor shower. The association has a clubhouse, tennis, bocce and kayak storage. It has 1,072 square feet.

78-1 Hartford Avenue, Old Lyme, 2 to 4 p.m., $250,000. This two-bedroom, one-bath cottage is a completely remodeled cottage steps from the beach at Sound View, sold with its contents. The listing says it has seasonal water from about March 15 to Nov. 30, is part of the seven-unit Ocean Walk Condominium Association ($420 a year) and is owner-occupied only, with no short-term rentals allowed. It has 624 square feet.

Sunday, Nov. 1

45 Clark Road, Lyme, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., $1,099,000. This six-bedroom, four-bath home has 13 rooms, according to the listing, with an oversized designer kitchen and center island, hardwood floors and stair treads cut from pine to be softer underfoot. It has 4,700 square feet on 2.55 acres.

38 Hope Street #107, Niantic, noon to 2 p.m., $549,000. This two-bedroom, 2.5-bath townhouse is on the market for the first time, in Niantic Village within reach of Main Street dining, the beaches and the boardwalk. It has hardwood floors, Corian counters, a two-car garage underneath and pond access for kayaking. It has 1,440 square feet and a $520 monthly HOA fee.

89 Brush Hill Road, Lyme, 1 to 3 p.m., $589,900. This three-bedroom, two-bath Cape borders a marsh, with a first-floor bedroom, bath and laundry, a walk-out basement, a new septic system and a detached two-car garage. It has 2,280 square feet on 1.1 acres.

29 Flat Rock Hill Road, Old Lyme, 1 to 3 p.m., $650,000. This three-bedroom, 2.5-bath Gambrel Colonial sits on a level, private 1.8-acre lot about three miles from the town beach and Old Lyme's historic center. The eat-in kitchen has a fireplace. The listing gives last year's costs as $1,906 for oil heat on the first floor and $3,602 for electricity. It has 1,878 square feet and a 2020 roof.
