Updated Absentee Ballot Information From The Lymes Town Clerk
Polls will be open on Election Day, November 3rd from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The CT Secretary of State’s Office has notified Town Clerks that they have begun to mail out the applications for absentee ballots.

When you receive your application, and If you would like to vote by absentee ballot, please complete the application, and do one of the following:
- Mail the completed application to the East Lyme Town Clerk in the postage pre-paid envelope that is provided with the application;
- Place the completed application in the Absentee Ballot Drop Box that is in front of the Town Hall (street side at top of stairs, and on top of handicapped ramp);
- Bring the completed application in to the Town Clerk’s Office.
Please note that absentee ballots are not available until October 2nd.

If you have already completed and returned your application for an absentee ballot please disregard the application you receive from the Secretary of State’s office.
If you have any questions, or if you need assistance completing the application please contact the Town Clerk’s Office at 860-739-6931 ext. 1135.
