A Year In Connecticut Art Exhibition and Opening Reception featuring Steve Nadler Photography. Sunday May 17 from 2-5pm.

The Old Lyme - Phoebe Griffin Noyes Library will host an art exhibition and opening reception for A Year in Connecticut showcasing recent works by Steve Nadler of Essex on Sunday, May 17, 2015 from 2-5 pm.Gallery talk with Steve Nadler at 2:30. Show runs May 17 - June 30.
The exhibition is Steve’s photo essay on the natural beauty that exists in southeastern Connecticut. As you walk through the exhibit areas his hope is that you experience the feeling of the changing seasons in all their glory. Taken over several years, Steve wanted people to experience the joyful feelings that nature touches in all of us throughout the year. As you tour this exhibit please keep in mind that the entire library represents the year and each section of the library represents a season.
In addition to Steve’s images on display, a special photographic exhibition by local middle school students will be unveiled in the Young Adult area. The teens were invited to express their creativity and vision by photographing scenes of Old Lyme and Lyme to share with library patrons and visitors.
