14-year-old Accused of Sexually Assaulting 4-Year-Old Surrenders at Troop C: Report

TOLLAND/ASHFORD, CT — A juvenile accused of first-degree sexual assault on a 4-year-old has surrendered to authorities at the Troop C state police barracks in Tolland, an arrest report indicates.

The incident was on Ave Factory Road in Ashford, state police said. The juvenile reported to the barracks in Tolland on Sunday and was arrested, according to an arrest report.

The boy is 14, according to an arrest report. The victim is only listed as a 4-year-old in an arrest report. The 4-year-old was not injured, according to an arrest report.

The boy has been charged with two counts each of first-degree sexual assault, risk of injury to a child and fourth-degree sexual assault, according to an arrest report.

The names of juveniles are exempt from disclosure, per state law.

The boy is due in juvenile court in Willimantic on Jan. 19, an arrest report indicates.
