2-Car Crash Closes Part Of Route 74 In Tolland Monday Morning
Two cars collided on a busy Road in Tolland Monday morning, fire officials said.
TOLLAND, CT — Tolland Stage Road was closed late Monday morning after two vehicles collided.
The crash occurred shortly before 10 a.m. near the Sand Hill Road intersection.
Tolland Fire Chief John Littell said the crash forced a section of the road to be closed and traffic was being diverted off Tolland Stage Road. It is also known at state Route 74 and runs parallel to Route 30. It is generally heavily traveled on a Monday morning.

One vehicle was on its side in what appeared to be a rear-end collision.
Two people were transported to area hospitals with undisclosed injuries.

Tolland Stage Road was reopened at about 11:30 a.m., fire officials said.
