2 Killed In Head-On Collision Sunday In Tolland
A head-on crash Sunday in Tolland left two adults dead and two children injured.

TOLLAND, CT — Two people were killed Sunday during a head-on collision on Merrow Road in Tolland.
Merrow Road is state Route 195.
According to a state police crash report, the accident took place at 1:25 p.m. near the Rhodes Road intersection.

A 2007 Subaru Outback being driven by 62-year-old Bryan Flint of Ellington was headed north and a 2016 Toyota Rav4 being driven by 63-year-old Amanda Bowen of Coventry was headed south, state police said.
The Toyota suddenly crossed the center line while on a curve and hit the Subaru head-on, according to a crash report. Both Bowen and Flint were killed. Two passengers in Flint's vehicle, ages 9 and 7, were taken to Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford with undisclosed injuries, according to a crash report.

Flint was the deputy director of the Cornerstone Foundation in Vernon, which runs a regional homeless and transitional shelter, a soup kitchen and a food and clothing bank.
