A state police cruiser was heading south on Route 32 when the vehicle was suddenly struck by a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee, according to an arrest report.

The driver of the Jeep, a 21-year-old man, fled the scene and was later picked up heading north on Route 195 in Tolland, where he failed sobriety tests, according to an arrest report.
