6 Cars Crash During Sequence On I-84 In Tolland

TOLLAND, CT — What began as a single-car accident on Interstate-84 in Tolland on Friday night turned into a crash sequence involving six cars, fire officials said.

The incidents were on the eastbound side of the highway, prior to exit 68.

Four people wound up being transported to area hospitals via ambulance, fire officials said. Reports were not yet available on Monday morning.

Two lanes of the highway were closed for some time, fire officials said.
