Children who love animals will have fun learning to paint and draw mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and imaginary creatures! Focus will be on improving skills using a broad range of media, including pencils, pastels, acrylics, and markers. Emphasis will be on the encouragement of creativity and expressive style at each child’s developmental level. The class will culminate with an exhibit of student work for children and their families.
Children should bring a healthy snack and a bottle of water.
Instructor Nancy Cooke Bunnell is an award winning pastel artist, who exhibits throughout the state, including at the Connecticut Pastel Society and Lyme Gallery. She is a certified art teacher and has over 25 years of teaching experience.
