TOLLAND, CT — A mini school bus, a box truck and a narrow stretch of gravel road proved to be a bad combination in Tolland, according to a state police report.
The incident took place on July 13, according to a recently released crash report.
With school out for the summer, no students were on the bus.
At 1:42 p.m., the mini bus was heading South on Charter Road. As the box truck approached on the unimproved road, the driver of the mini bus attempted to give it some passing space, but struck a rock on the side of the road, according to a crash report.
No one was hurt and the mini bus was driven from the scene, state police said.
