TOLLAND, CT — Two crashes took place in the same spot in Tolland two days apart last week, state police crash reports show.
A 6:30 p.m. on July 15, a 2019 Audo Q5 was headed south on Merrow Road, south of the Interstate 84 off-ramp, when a 2025 Hyundai Kona pulled out of the Citgo station and hit the Audi, according to a crash report.
No injuries were reported.
Two days later, at 7:21 p.m., a 2014 Toyota Venza cut off a 2014 BMW 528XI that was heading south on Merrow Road as it was making a left turn out of the Citgo station and the two vehicles collided, a crash report says.
No one was hurt.
Crash reports indicate both drivers were charged with failure to grant the right of way.
