Troop C Log: The Latest Connecticut State Police Arrests In Tolland County (patch.com) — Tolland-area residents can see the latest Troop C arrest log, including several incidents that occurred in Tolland on Baxter Road, Plains Road, Tolland Green, Grandview Street and Baxter Street. The report lists names, ages, hometowns and charges for each case, while stressing that these are allegations and not findings of guilt.
   

2. Teen Driver Charged With DUI After Crash At Tolland Green: State Police (patch.com) — Residents around Tolland Green are learning more about a late-night crash in which a 19-year-old driver was charged with DUI after hitting a utility pole near 63 Tolland Green. State police say the teen, who allegedly had an elevated blood alcohol level for someone under 21, faces several traffic charges, while a 17-year-old passenger from Vernon suffered a minor injury.
   

3. 1 Dead In Somers Shooting (patch.com) — State police based at Troop C in Tolland responded early Tuesday to a reported suspicious incident on South Road in Somers and found one person fatally shot. A second person at the scene was detained, and investigators say there is no ongoing threat to the public as the Eastern District Major Crime Squad continues its work.
   

4. Somers man charged in murder and home invasion due in court Wednesday (newstimes.com) — A Somers man accused in a deadly home invasion is being held on a $1.5 million bond and is due in Rockville court after a fatal shooting on South Road. He was processed at Troop C in Tolland, where state police brought him following his detention outside the home.
