TOLLAND, CT — A New York City man's sport utility vehicle slammed into a rock on a rainy trek on Interstate 84 over the weekend, state police said.
The crash took place just prior to 10 a.m. Sunday, according to a crash report.
According to a crash report, a 28-year-old man from Flushing, NY, was driving a 2025 Honda CRV west, about a half-mile before the Exit 67 off-ramp.
In wet conditions, the Honda spun out and collided with a rock after careening off the shoulder, according to a crash report.
The driver escaped injury, but not a written warning for raveling too fast for conditions, according to a crash report.
