TOLLAND, CT — A popular farm store was damaged and someone on foot was hurt after a parking lot mishap in Tolland, state police said.
State police recently released details on the Sept. 8 incident.
According to a crash report, at 12:48 p.m. that day, an 88-year-old Tolland woman accidentally hit the accelerator rather than the brake in her 2003 Toyota Corolla and the car crashed through the building.
A 76-year-old woman who was on the property on foot was taken to Rockville Hospital with a suspected minor injury, according to a crash report.
State police said the driver was unhurt, but she was issued a warning for unsafe movement and her license was seized for Department of Motor Vehicles re-testing.
