TOLLAND, CT — Voting is now open for Tolland's annual scarecrow contest, with residents and visitors invited to select their favorite displays on the Tolland Green.
Voters may cast up to three votes for their favorite scarecrows. The scarecrow receiving the most votes will receive first place, followed by second- and third-place winners based on the vote totals.
Voting will remain open through Oct. 15. The voting form is available through the following link:
The annual contest is hosted by the Tolland Permanent Celebration Committee and serves as a kickoff to the town's fall festivities.
The Town Green Harvest Festival is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 3, and will feature food, activities and live music.
